HOW TO USE: Wet your hair thoroughly and the soap bar too. Rub the soap bar gently on top of your head for a few seconds until the desired lather is achieved. Wash your hair thoroughly and massage your scalp. Rinse well. I recommend rinsing with hot water (comfortably hot) for a few seconds then with warm water for a few minutes.
IMPORTANT NOTE!
Natural shampoo bars are different from liquid shampoos and your hair will feel different after shampoo bar use -- being possibly: heavier, fuller and/or squeaky clean . It is absolutely normal and well worth it if you are trying to ditch chemicals, thickeners, preservatives etc. that make up modern shampoos.
When using natural shampoo bars your hair will need some form of conditioner at some point to balance the PH. How often you will need to use a conditioner depends on your hair type, length, styling needs, etc. and is very individual.
Some people need to use conditioner daily or weekly, some once or twice a month.
I recommend using a conditioner of your choice or a natural conditioner that can be made at home.
The natural conditioner recipe: juice of a small lemon or lime squeezed into a glass of warm water. If your hair is long double or triple the ingredients. You can use the natural conditioner right after shampoo bar use. Just apply to wet hair, massage in, leave in for a few minutes, and then rinse well.
